This policy explains what personal information Current Goods ("we," "us"), an Australian business, collects when you visit currentgoods.store or buy something from a drop, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.

Provided by you: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment details, collected at checkout or when you join a waitlist or SMS list.

Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location, via cookies and similar technologies.

From others: order and delivery status from our shipping carriers, and fraud-risk signals from our payment processor.

02 · How we use it

→Process orders, payments, and shipping, and send status updates by email or SMS

→Notify you when a drop or waitlisted item goes live, if you opted in

→Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and checkout errors

→Understand site usage to improve product pages and drop timing

03 · Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and checkout session working, and analytics cookies to see which drops and pages perform well. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the cart and some checkout features may stop working correctly if you do.

04 · Who we share it with

We share the minimum data necessary with: payment processors (to charge your card and prevent fraud), shipping carriers (to deliver your order), SMS/email providers (to send updates you opted into), and analytics providers (in aggregated or de-identified form). 07 · Children's privacy

Current Goods is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data and we'll delete it.

08 · Security

Payment data is encrypted in transit and handled by a PCI-DSS-compliant processor; we never store full card numbers on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

09 · Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use of the site after that date means you accept the update.
